Summer is in full swing, and my boys are enjoying it. Sam absolutely LOVES the pool and gets more brave every time we go. He goes all over the pool in his water wings and will even jump off the diving board and put his head under water. What a difference just a month makes! Ethan is enjoying the pool a little more as well as long as he isn't getting splashed alot which is hard when your brother is 3 years old and ALL BOY.
Sam is still enjoying doing his "rock collection" and I am constantly finding rocks in pockets and random places in the house. He went to his first movie,
Madagascar 3, with his Nana and really enjoyed it. He keeps us pretty entertained with his imagination and sense of humor. If you ask him what time it is, he will ALWAYS say 1:45. He has a group of imaginary friends: Bidite, Bedete, Fite, Dite, and Owite (who knows how exactly you spell these names). Usually one of them is sick, in Nashville or going to work and at some point in the day he is on the phone with one of them or yelling for them outside. It's hilarous.
As for Ethan, he turned 8 months old and still doesn't have a tooth. Poor guy. He so wants to eat everything we are eating. For now, he is enjoying bananas, eggs, blueberries, puffs, and yogurt. There is nothing he won't eat, which makes my life so much easier. He hasn't started crawling yet, mostly because he really doesn't like being on his stomach. He is pretty good about playing by himself with toys, but lately has been a serious momma's boy. As long as he doesn't see or hear me, he can play contently by himeself or sit with someone else, but as soon as he sees me, it's over. Normally, he isn't super talkative, but as soon as the sermon starts or we are praying in church, Ethan starts to jabber and squawk. It never fails. When he is happy or excited, he flaps his arms wildly up and down, and his brother can get a giggle out of him quicker than anyone can.
