Samuel Aiden is 4!
Well, I am a little late at getting to this, but I guess it is better late than never. Our sweet guy turned 4 last month. I have to say, this age has been one of my favorites so far. We are so lucky to be this little guy's parents and know all of his quirks. Here are some things about our Sam.
- Sammy still loves beeing read to and having that snuggle time with Aaron and I.
- He is FULL of a billion questions about everyone or everything. He assumes that we know everyone and their life story and can't understand when we can't answer his inquiries.
- He has started enjoying board games and playing sports games on the Wii. Favorite games include: Candyland, matching games, Guess Who and Feed the Woozle.
- Sam adores his brother. They are starting to play together a little more and it is so fun to watch them interact and enjoy each other.
- He could run, wrestle, climb, etc ALL DAY LONG. His heaven is being at the park or a play place with other kids running and being crazy.
- Which leads me to discuss his endless appetite. He talks about being hungry when he first wakes up and being hungry when he goes to bed. He even wants to know what we are having for all our meals the next day.
- We are seeing more and more how much he is like his momma in personality particularly his memory with names and events, his need for a plan, his tendency to cuddle, hug or touch someone all the time, his delight in being with people, and how strongly he feels every emotion. He might look like his daddy, but he is much more like me (poor dude!).
- He still hates having his hair cut and it continues to be a battle (who knew trimming hair follicles would be so tramatic?)
- He has a hilarious mad face.
- Funny sayings include: "I'm gonna blubber dat belly!", "Here da deal", "Let's Dance." (When playing sword fighting games on the Wii), "See you in the funny papers" (a saying from my 91 year old grandmother), "No Doom Ethan!!" (when Ethan is going towards the steps or doing something dangerous)
- He named my parent's house "Pickle Jones" (who knows where that came from)
