The Inch Worm

Sam turned 9 months old yesterday. Totally crazy to me that our little boy is growing up so fast. In this past week, he has started to develop all kinds of new skills. He is saying "dada". I don't think he is saying it to Aaron, but he is at least able to say the sound. Also, he isn't gagging every time he tries to eat a cheerio or puff. This is a big thing for us as he seems to have a more sensitive gag reflex making it difficult for him to eat anything with texture or substance. It used to be a huge success for him to get one or two puffs down at a sitting. This week he is enjoying them much more. But the biggest news though is that he is starting to crawl. Well, not so much crawl right now as just inch along, but its a start. And we are so proud of him!

It took me FOREVER to get a video of Sam "playing" his piano. Everytime I would start to film him, he would stop banging and just stare at me. This is the best I could get. It is so fun to watch him discover new sounds and toys. He might not have any real musical ability, but he sure is having a good time!
